At Duallet, our commitment to innovation and excellence has driven us to continually refine our products. Our journey from the initial concept to the latest iteration of the Duallet wallet reflects our dedication to creating a product that embodies freedom, strength, and functionality.
Version 1: The Inception
Our first version showcased a bold and distinctive design. However, it lacked the aesthetic appeal and the embodiment of the free-spirited essence we aimed for. Functionally, while we had devised a card ejection mechanism, it did not meet our standards for secure and convenient card storage and retrieval.
Version 2: Embracing the Eagle
Determined to infuse our wallet with a sense of freedom and masculinity, we drew inspiration from the eagle—a symbol of strength and liberty. We broke away from conventional designs, crafting a wallet that resonated with our brand's spirit. Market surveys and advertisements revealed a positive reception to this eagle-inspired design. Despite improvements in card retention and ejection mechanisms, challenges persisted. The card ejection was still cumbersome, and the color and finish did not align with our initial vision.
Version 3: Refining the Experience
Encouraged by the favorable response to our design, we focused on enhancing materials, finishes, and user experience. This version offered a smoother card ejection experience. We experimented with various colors for the Eagle-clip (money clip) to cater to diverse customer preferences. While the concept was nearly complete, the wallet still fell short in securely holding cards. Our high standards prevented us from bringing this version to market.
Version 4: Achieving Excellence
In this iteration, we perfected the color, finish, and intricate engravings, achieving a high level of craftsmanship. We addressed the card retention issue, ensuring a smooth ejection mechanism for up to seven cards. Additionally, we integrated MagSafe compatibility, allowing for flexible expansion with the Duallet Mini—providing extra space and functionality. This nearly final version embodies our vision of a sleek, durable wallet with a proprietary mechanism that prevents card loss and offers versatile expansion options.
